<description>HELP ME MORE!!!! I have a builder that wants me to paint his homes. He wants me just based on what he has seen in my house. (looks good). I know glazing, ragging, dragging, stripping, and faux bellagio and metallics. I know most people charge per sq ft. and it ranges dramatically. I know I will need to take into consideration the complexity of the finish and the architectural elements. I am hearing $1.00 sq ft. for base color and $5.00 - $6.00 per sq ft. for the top coast, second top coat and so on. Do people charge per layer? for example colorwashing is two layers after top coat. So would that be $1.00 (base coat), and then 2 X $5.00 (layers)? Is this a fair price to charge in your opinion? Thanks for your help!!
