The older members of my family think I'm nuts wanting to learn a new trade aged 54, but I'm fed-up with working in boring offices! I've always loved painting rooms - my Dad & brother are both decorators, so it runs in the family - but because I can't paint pictures, I never thought I could do anything more than straight forward interior decorating. Then suddenly, I discovered faux painting! I've enrolled on an Interior Design Course & plan to start a Decorative Painting course soon, but your tips have been so valuable to me.
